Baptisia australis, Convallaria majalis, Gillenia trifoliata and Polygonatum falcatum ‘Variegatum’ are elegantly displaying their dainty flowers and delicate colours, while if you’re looking for something with a bit more punch, how about the dazzling new foliage of the Pieris and the Acers; the striking purples and pinks of the Syringa; and the bright blooms of the paeonie and azalia.
