Description
Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Variegatum’ are shrubs or small evergreen trees from New Zealand. This variety adds lightness to the garden and it’s dark stems contrast with the wavy small silvery-green leaves edged with cream. Great in a border as a back drop to other planting or used as screening or hedging. The glossy foliage is great for flower arranging too.
Prefers well-drained soil and shelter from cold, drying winds. Prune back if damaged by frost. The variegated forms are slower to grow and prefer a sunnier position to other tenuifolium. 4m x 2m.
