Description

Also known as Chinese Wild Ginger, this vigorous rhizomatic ground cover forms a thick mat of foliage with large, elongated, heart-shaped leaves and elegant silver mottling.  In late winter/early spring the most unusual, 2 inch wide, dark purple flowers appear at soil level.  Works well in shady gardens and containers.
