Description
Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Purpureum’ are evergreen shrubs with fine, glossy foliage from New Zealand. This variety has attractive leaves which change colour from green to a chocolate-purple shade that makes a great contrast colour in a border. They produce tiny purple-brown flowers which are honey scented. Good for providing structure in the border or as hedging. The glossy foliage is great for flower arranging. Prefers well-drained soil and shelter from cold, drying winds. Good in sun or partial shade. 4m x 2m.
