Description
This tree is famous for its bright pink spring foliage, followed by dropping panicles of scented white flowers in mid summer. Attractive to pollinators. All parts of the plant are aromatic – the wood is burnt in temples throughout East Asian. Prefers sun, well-drained soil and shelter from winds to protect the foliage.
